Accepting yourself

What does it mean for my photography to be “body inclusive”? It means that my photography is open to all — regardless of your shape, size, racial or ethnic background gender identity, or ability status. Tulsa is one of the most diverse cities in the United States, and I want that to be reflected in my art.

Sometimes, with very specific types of beauty standards being shoved in front of us all the time, we can feel like we don’t have permission to accept our bodies as they are and celebrate ourselves. I think that sometimes, the “body positivity” aspect of boudoir photography is a bit oversold — sometimes, the experience of seeing yourself raw and vulnerable can be a bit jarring. But I do truly believe that art changes all who participate in it for the better. While it can be challenging, it’s also a big step toward self-acceptance.

No matter what you look like, I want you to experience the creative self-expression of fine art boudoir. Check out the gallery below for some of the diverse bodies that have entered my studio, and click below to begin your own journey!
